Matrix Plastics established Matrix Medical Plastics in 2020. This was in response to the urgent demand for compliant medical equipment during the Covid-19 pandemic. We now specialise in compounding and masterbatch solutions for various medical applications at our purpose-built facility in Slough, Berkshire.

Our plant is the only fully-certified medical colour and additive compounding facility in the UK. It features a dedicated cleanroom environment that can achieve ISO Class 7 particle count standards. Additionally, we adhere to the globally recognised ISO 13485:2016 quality management system.

Custom Solutions for Medical Components

Central to our offering is our ability to develop bespoke colour, additive, and functional formulations tailored specifically for medical components. These solutions are designed to integrate seamlessly into our customers’ existing moulding and extrusion processes. We maintain consistency, traceability, and regulatory compliance throughout.
